My server is down!
Before you open a ticket or contact us, do the following to be sure it IS behosting's machine that is exhibiting the problem.

• Does http://essence.behosting.com/~yourusername work (bennu in place of essence if on that machine)?  If so, it's a DNS issue.  Check to be sure your domain name isn't expired.  You can do a whois lookup from our domain manager page.  If it's expired, renew it from that same page and it should start working again in 12-72 hours.
• Do a trace route.  From a DOS prompt in windows, type tracert mydomain.com and hit enter.  You'll see a series of "hops" as the request passes from your computer to your domain.  If you see stars and a "timed out" message, that's where the break is.  If it reaches Liquid Web's network before the stars, then there is no problem with the machines.  The machines are designed to block pings and trace routes when they come in - that is why you will see Liquid Web (our network), but not our actual machine.
